Betty Bloom Quilt BOM 
Betty Bloom was our 2024 BOM. It ran from January to December 2024. It is now available as a pattern only and also as a STARTER KIT.  See our Pattern and Kits sections. 

Quilt & Kit Information: designed by Gerardine Cahill, the Betty Bloom quilt is a beautiful blend of appliqué and embroidery. This is a fun, vintage style quilt with portable sized blocks, perfect for sewing on-the-go. The embroidery is a sweet addition to enhance each block. 

Quilt size: the finished quilt top will measure Approx 60” x 69” (153cm x 175cm). You will create approximately 2-3 blocks each month. 

Fabrics used for the Betty Bloom STARTER KIT : the fabrics in each months kit is carefully chosen and curated by Gerardine. We will be using a selection of beautiful Robert Kauffman Essex linens, Liberty quilting cottons, and classic calicos for a low volume background. The appliqué fabrics include Liberty quilting cottons, linen/cotton blends, Tilda fabrics, Dutch Heritage fabrics, and Sevenberry fabrics - all carefully chosen to create a beautiful display of calm colours. Gerardine spends a lot of time choosing and auditioning between fabrics to obtain a beautiful harmonious blend of colours.
